Wizardry VI

Before we get started, I'll throw in a little bit of background and setup below. I only started doing this after Dylan's e-mail update on Tactics Ogre gave me the idea, so there's some catch-up to do.

If you want to skip straight to the updates, here they are:
Part 1

A bit of background:

Look at these rad fuckers... and that gnome's giant fucking HAND.

First off, what is Wizardry 6? It's a pretty interesting western RPG from the late 80's (??? I'm not looking any of this shit up), made by a company called Sir-Tech (now defunct), and written by D.W. Bradley, who went on to write... Dungeon Lords? some other garbage? I bet he has a Kickstarter for some RPG now, gotta get that sweet crowdfunding cash. Anyway, There were a bunch of prequels but those don't matter, this is the first game in the final trilogy which consists of Wizardry 6: Bane of the Cosmic Forge, Wizardry 7: Crusaders of the Dark Savant, and Wizardry 8: I don't remember the sub-title.

Wizardry 6 starts off pretty straightforward, you're a bunch of dudes (and dudettes) who blunder into some random castle or whatever and start fucking shit up. I didn't really read the plot and can't be bothered to dig up the PDF manual, so that's what you get. We're in a castle fucking shit up.

First things first, Wizardry has a bunch of weird races and classes that most RPGs at the time didn't really have. You can play as lizard men, dragon people, cat people, dog people, space monkeys, and faeries. We've got a decent mix.

The party currently consists of (sorry Moriah, Paul, I ran out of space at 6):

"Shugenja" Brad - lvl4 Rawulf (dog-person) Samurai
"Brother" Jon - lvl4 Gnome Monk
"Executioner"(lol) Peter - lvl4 Faerie Ninja
"Vicar" Dylan - lvl4 Mook (space monkey) Bishop
"Healer" Beth - lvl5 Elf Priest
"Cantor" Jeff - lvl5 Felpurr (cat-person) Bard (female?)

You can also see that as you level up in a class you get new titles every so often, I'll keep these updated as we progress. Another neat feature is you can change classes any time, as long as you meet the stat requirements. We're going to be doing a bunch of that later to make our dudes totally bad-ass, but that won't be for a while, we're still getting our shit fucked up by rats and "strange plants" or something.

So now that you know a little bit about the game, go to the update above.
